James Bond 25 gets the official title of No Time To Die as the full cast for the movie is confirmed and an official plot synopsis is released. The film will see Daniel Craig return as James Bond. The upcoming 25th installment in the long-running franchise is already filming ahead of Bond 25’s April 2020 release date. Craig signed on to play Bond for 2006’s Casino Royale, and has starred in some well-received entries in the franchise, particularly 2012’s Skyfall....

Ahead of the launch of Apple TV+ later this fall, Apple continues to ink new deals for content. Variety reports that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will develop a new drama series for Apple’s upcoming streaming service. According to the report, Gordon-Levitt will star in the series, as well as write it and serve as an executive producer. The show is tentatively titled “Mr. Corman” and said to “follow an elementary school teacher grappling with adulthood in Los Angeles....

Jake Johnson and Omar Sy will return for Universal and Amblin Entertainment’s Jurassic World 3. Johnson and Sy first appeared as control room operator Lowery Cruthersand and velociraptor trainer Barry, respectively, in 2015’s Jurassic World. Apple today has been ordered by a U.S. judge to pay $507 million in damages to the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s patent licensing arm for patent infringement. The ruling comes after the case’s jury ruled Apple owed $234 million, making the judge’s decision nearly double that of the jury (via Reuters). The lawsuit is based on the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation’s 1998 patent for improving chip efficiency. The foundation claims that Apple’s A7, A8, and A8X chips, found in the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and various iPads, all violate the patent....

Apple is facing a putative class action in a federal courtroom in Sacramento, California, over the way customers can “buy” or “rent” movies, TV shows, and other content in the iTunes Store. While Apple had attempted to dismiss the lawsuit, a federal judge has denied this request. As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, David Andino, the lead plaintiff in this case, argues the “distinction is deceptive” and alleges that “Apple reserves the right to terminate access to what consumers have ‘purchased....

The short picks up from the ending of last year’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, with the dinosaurs that once populated the park now roaming freely among humans.
