The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus won’t hit shelves until 8 am Friday morning, but Apple Stores have already been offering both leather and silicone cases from Apple’s new collection.

If you stop by a retail store to buy one of the new color options for your iPhone 6 or 6 Plus or for your new model coming on Friday, you’ll notice a new approach to packaging the official iPhone cases.

It fits the new approach to unify packaging and create a premium look for higher end products. Leather 6s and 6s Plus cases are now in white boxes that display a product image, and cheaper silicon versions are in redesigned clear plastic packaging similar to older product boxes.

Apple’s prior packaging was a mix of both: white-backed box with a clear front. The 6s and 6s Plus redesigned boxes also make the two different material cases more identifiable. We’ve also seen the new iPhone 6s packaging for each new model.

For reference, the iPhone 6s cases go for $35 (silicone) and $45 (leather), while the iPhone 6s Plus cases cost a little more at $39 (silicone) and $49 (leather). For more options, check out our iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus case roundup.
