iPhone XR pre-orders go live in more than 50 countries on Friday, and Apple has now announced that it will be available in 13 more countries not long afterwards.

iPhone XS and XS Max sales will also be opening up to additional countries …

The initial launch countries for iPhone XR pre-orders, opening at 12.01am PST on October 19, are:

Deliveries will then begin a week later on Friday Oct 26.

If you’re in the iPhone Upgrade Program, you can already register for pre-approval – which will speed up the checkout process on Friday. Apple recommends using the Apple Store app for going through the pre-approval process.

Next up will be Israel, where the XR will go on sale on November 1st. The following day, it will also be available in Armenia, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Macau, Maldives, Myanmar, Ukraine and Vietnam.

If you’ve instead been waiting patiently for the iPhone XS/Max to hit your country, the same Oct 19 pre-order/Oct 26 delivery schedule will apply to those models in Chile, Colombia, Malaysia and Thailand. They will go on sale in more than 10 other countries on November 2nd, but Apple has so far only named South Korea as one of them.

There have been mixed expectations about demand for the iPhone XR, with noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expecting it to outstrip last year’s sales of the iPhone 8, while some suppliers are less optimistic.
