The report is focused on performance of the online sales channel, so doesn’t go into more detail than that on brand comparisons, looking instead at retailer websites.

It noted that, in general, more premium smartphones are bought online rather than offline, though Apple did skew the numbers.

The worldwide picture is a little different, where Gartner reports that Huawei overtook Apple in Q2, a position guaranteed to be reversed in Q3.
