The Irwin family from Crikey! It’s the Irwins rescue over 90,000 animals, many of them were injured in the raging Australia fires. The wildfires of Australia have been the worst that the country has seen in many years; with many fearing for the lives and their home.

Even though Bindi Irwin and Robert Irwin’s beloved father Steve Irwin was accidentally killed back in 2006 after he was stung by a stingray, the family continues to urge others to help out animals and learn the most they can. The Irwin family, including Steve’s widow Terri Irwin, has all been an intricate part of the fight to save Australia’s wildlife as they like to work together most of the time. The Australian family have been rescuing animals, but the animals are in dire need thanks to the many fires that have been raging all over the South-Eastern side of the continent.

Accoring to Wish TV the country’s native animals have a little bit of hope thanks to the Irwin family. The family is continuing their late husband and father, Steve Irwin’s legacy by trying their best to rescue the wildlife that is currently in danger. The family has made it their mission to save animals, and so far have saved over 90,000 animals that were injured in the wildfires of Australia, which includes “hundreds of grey-headed flying foxes.” Steve Irwin’s daughter, Bindi posted about an ophaned flying fox on her Instagram, check out the post below:

Bindi took to her Instagram to tell followers that her heart was breaking due to the devastating wildfires and how the wildlife has lost so much already. The new wife also confirmed that the Australia Zoo which is operated by the Irwin family has not yet been endangered by the wildfires. But according to the family, the zoo’s hospital had been at max capacity and busier than ever. As wildlife warriors, the family continues to work toward ecologist ideas and the protection of animals. Sadly, some do not make it as the social media account shared the loss of Blossom the possum who died shortly after being rescued from the devastation.

Almost a third of koalas in New South Wales have been killed with the brushfires burning out of control. The fires occurred when three large fires joined together on January 4th to form one humongous blaze that is bigger than the size of Manhattan. The Australian firefighters have been battling the flames nonstop, but despite their efforts, many people have already perished and over 1,300 houses have been left uninhabitable. Crikey! It’s the Irwins stars are doing their part to stop the devistation to the wildlife and are urging people to donate to their cause.
