Following today’s Keynote for Mac and iWork for iCloud updates, Apple has updated Pages, Keynote, and Numbers for iPhone and iPad to version 2.1 today. The Mac versions of Pages and Numbers have also received updates. Like the web versions, each app gained support for sharing password-protected documents via iCloud links.
Keynote for iOS also gained new transitions, a remote feature for controlling the Mac version, and more.
Keynote Remote, which is integrated into the aforementioned update, is no longer visible in the App Store. But the direct link continues to work.
Numbers for iOS now supports landscape mode for spreadsheets, date and duration charts, and has improved compatibility with other spreadsheet apps.
Pages for iOS added the ability to create date and time charts, a character counter, automatic bullet list support, and more.
On the Mac side, Numbers and Pages each got substantial updates. Pages now has a vertical ruler, customizable alignment guides, keyboard shortcuts for custom styles, a character counter, and more.
Numbers for Mac gained the ability to sort a subset of rows, sort data by multiple column values, chart date and duration values, a progress indicator for lengthy calculations, and more.
