The Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Jedi Temple puzzle is a refreshing change from the ones faced in the game up to that point since, if nothing else, the change of scenery from dusty old ruins to ones encased in beautiful sheets of ice makes it more aesthetically pleasing. Figuring out the solution to the Jedi Temple crystal light puzzle can be something of a nuisance for players looking to breeze through the monument to fallen Jedi, however, as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order employs a beam of light mechanic that can be frustrating to some players who struggle with that kind of gameplay.
Those looking for an easier time of it in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will know that once players discover the true nature of Cal’s mission, things begin to ramp up quickly, both in terms of enemies faced and puzzles solved. Preceding the Jedi Temple puzzle is the one that begins it all in the Tomb of Eilram, which introduces players to some of the mechanics they’ll need to get familiar with in order to progress through more challenging ones. Most importantly, it trains players to mimic Cal in having a keen eye for their surroundings, knowing which things to manipulate based on their conspicuous appearance.
The Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Jedi Temple puzzle features plenty of suspicious objects and an even more suspect layout, so it’s easy to know that something needs to happen in order for Cal to progress. It might not be as exciting as getting the double-bladed lightsaber early, but it’s a satisfying puzzle that fans will enjoy completing. For those who want a little more help with the scenario, though, Screen Rant has provided a quick walkthrough to guide players through the Jedi Temple and onward to Cal’s destiny.
How to Melt the Jedi Temple Frozen Door
The crux of the Jedi Temple puzzle in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is finding and melting the ice off of two different doors within the chamber that contains the light crystal in it. Cal gives players a hint by saying that it has already been melted once with light before, giving them a clue as to what they should do this time around, too. Keen-eyed players will spot two windows in the chamber, one off to the right of the massive block of ice, and another on the opposite end of the room. Opening either window lets beams of light into the room, which in turn players can manipulate with the giant crystal on the ceiling.
Players will need Cal to grab the rope dangling from the crystal with his own two hands, however, as Force Pull doesn’t do anything. To do that, players will need to go to the ledge on the far right, near one of the two windows. At the bottom of the screen in that position, players will see a gigantic metal arc that spans the floor to all of the platforms vertically. Use Force Pull on the top part of the arc to rotate it, then open the window and tie it to the anchor. Finally, Force Pull the rope and Cal should automatically grab it if done correctly, and if players pull off to the right as Cal is holding the rope, they’ll redirect the light onto the smaller block of ice in the chamber.
After that, players need to close the window and Force Push the anchor over to the other side of the room (towards the other window). Tie the crystal to the anchor, Force Push it back to where it was, and then use the small tunnel on the side to navigate all the way back to the chamber’s beginning. After opening the window there, players can redirect the light towards the bigger ice block and finally melt their way through to the next Jedi Fallen Order puzzle.
