Jen Harley, from Jersey Shore, confirmed that she and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro will never get back together. Fans of the hit MTV show are overjoyed to know that Jen will not be a part of Ronnie’s romantic life anymore.
Back on October 4, Ortiz-Magro and Harley were ensnared in a physical altercation that led to the reality star being tased while staying in an Airbnb in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department promptly issued an emergency protective order against Ortiz-Magro - which was effective until October 11 - following his arrest for the domestic violence incident against Harley. The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star had to stay at least 100 yards away from his now ex-girlfriend as he was accused of attacking her. For the last couple of years, the two have been in the tabloids for their toxic relationship with fans growing tired of their situation.
Not to be left out of the spotlight for too long, Harley revealed (via: Us Weekly) that she would like to focus on herself and make self-care a priority in the new year. The reality star shared that she is not looking to date anyone new any time soon in a December 28 Instagram post. The 32-year-old explained that her being single does not translate her to being available. She shared with fans that she has been the happiest she has been in a very long time since her relationship with Ortiz-Magro ended.
The unhappy couple broke up back in October for good after the alleged domestic violence incident. Fans were shocked to learn that the couple’s daughter Ariana Sky was present during the argument. The Jersey Shore star was charged with seven misdemeanors, which included resisting arrest. Ortiz-Magro pleaded not guilty to all charges in November. Harley had also accused Ortiz-Magro of having cheated on her with a family friend, saying he had lied about the secret relationship.
It looks like the breakup was the best choice for both TV stars, as Ortiz-Magro has been spending time with his daughter and continuing to work on his sobriety after a stint in rehab, while Harley has decided to work on herself. Whatever the reason, fans are beyond thrilled to know that neither one of them wants to reconcile their relationship, considering it’s hit rock bottom. Fans can look forward to season 4 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in the new year, which will have the return of Mike Sorrentino and the last appearance of Nicole Polizzi.
