Star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Joe Giudice shows off his modest apartment and reveals that he “starts work next week.” The father of four is taking positive steps forward to move past his time behind bars and enjoy the freedom he was granted.
In 2013, both Joe and Teresa were indicted for filing a false bankruptcy report, trying to hide their wealth. Joe had other charges brought against him as well, also being indicted for failing to file tax returns between 2004 and 2008. After three years behind bars, he was released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement on October 11 and was flown immediately back to his home country, Italy. Recently, Giudice and his wife, Teresa, sat down with a tell-all interview where they opened up about the state of their marriage to Andy Cohen. The two then reunited after three years apart which was documented on social media for all to see.
Giudice decided it was time to rent his own apartment to make himself feel more at home according to Us Weekly. On Saturday, November 23, Giudice took to Instagram and shared a video tour of his new abode. The apartment was not as lavish as his New Jersey mansion, but it did have a bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and a cozy living room. The tour ended on the apartment’s balcony which showed the mountainside view from his new home. The Italian apartment was a juxtapose to his wife’s multimillion-dollar mansion which boasts 10,044 square feet, six bedrooms, and six bathrooms. Currently, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s daily routine consisted of working out at the gym and eating, but he shared with fans that he will start work next week. The former construction business owner did not reveal what his new line of work would be but said he was looking forward to being able to earn money for his family. He signed off the video by saying that “Life is good. I wish I was home, but this is better than where I was.”
It has been over three years since Giudice spent any time in his over the top home but seemed to be filled with joy at his new apartment and finishings. There is a high possibility that all of the new journeys that Giudice is having will be caught by Bravo cameras as the network has already confirmed that they were there when the family had their overseas reunion. While Teresa Giudice seems to be holding her life together well, the couple’s four daughters are struggling a bit more to comprehend that their father may never come home. Teresa let slip while attending BravoCon that her daughters are missing their father even more since the trip but went on to say they are amazing kids who will get through the situation.
