Case manufacturers love to get prepared early for the next iPhone redesign, and this year they are getting the jump on the hump. The iPhone 11 will abandon the traffic-like vertical camera design seen in iPhone XS and instead adopt a triple-camera system with a new bump in a rounded-rectangle shape. As first leaked by OnLeaks in January, the three cameras are arranged in a triangular pattern. The cameras, microphone, and flash are housed in a square protrusion about the size of an Apple Watch....

Apple updated the iPhone 5 section of its online store to show shipping estimates for the handset have improved from “3 -4 weeks” to “2 -3 weeks”. The iPhone 5 has seen shipping delays since it first went on sale in late September due to high demand and problems in production. Today’s improvements follow official word from Foxconn in October that production for the iPhone 5 has improved. Foxconn said the iPhone 5 is “the most difficult device that Foxconn has ever assembled,” and it added production is getting better day-by-day....

It looks like the iPod/iPhone 1.1.2 upgrade did more for the platform that close security holes and add some international features. iPhone Atlas is reporting that the iPhone got a modest upgrade in speed as well. While the 3% upgrade in speed is modest, it does indicate that Apple has the ability to upgrade the speed of the device based on what applications are being used. For instance, if Apple needed some more horsepower for a video chat application in the future, it could crank the iPhone’s CPU up to 500Mhz....

Warner Bros. upcoming DC film Joker contains at least one reference to the DCEU, and more specifically Batman v Superman. Under the direction of Todd Phillips, Joker sees Joaquin Phoenix tackle the role of the mentally unstable Arthur Fleck, who over the course of the film becomes Gotham City’s Clown Prince of Crime known as The Joker. J.D. Power notes that a decline in the overall price of tablets has resulted in a decline in overall satisfaction. Apple, however, avoids that by ranking highest in every category except price. The report also provided some other findings on tablet sales, purchasing habits, and brand loyalty for September 2013 to February 2014 when the study took place. Apple ranks highest in overall satisfaction with a score of 830 and performs highest in all study factors except cost....
