Apple has been compelled to add a statement regarding the outcome of a ‘planned obsolescence’ lawsuit to its homepage in Italy. The court ruled showed that Apple did not provide adequate information about the impact of performing the iOS 10.2.1 update, which introduced the infamous iPhone performance throttling for degraded batteries. Apple lost a lawsuit at the end of 2018 in Italy, where a court said that Apple had not appropriately disclosed the changes to device performance in the iOS 10....

Ahead of this upcoming week’s iTunes Festival concert series at SXSW, Apple has added an iTunes Festival channel to the Apple TV so that users can live stream the concert’s content. Late last week, Apple released an updated version of the iTunes Festival application for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Jurassic World short film Battle at Big Rock releases on Sunday reveals a new poster shared by director Colin Trevorrow. The phenomenon that would eventually become the Jurassic Park/World movie franchise began in earnest in 1990 with the publication of Michael Crichton’s original novel about an amusement park showcasing genetically engineered dinosaurs (who of course wound up running amok). It is a management simulation game based on strategy as you need to maintain your dinosaur park. To date, we have two Jurassic World Evolution games, which are hugely successful. Both Spotify and Apple Music users today have noticed that albums from hip-hop artist Jay-Z, who happens to be owner of competing music streaming service Tidal, have been removed from the services. It appears that most of the artist’s original albums have been removed while some content where he is a featured artist or collaborator, and perhaps not the sole owner of the content, remains available for streaming. Tidal representatives have not officially announced the move, but Spotify’s support team is confirming the removal to users of the service on social media (via MacRumors)....
