Apple TV+ has announced more details on its highly anticipated original series with Jon Stewart. Apple says that the show will be titled The Problem with Jon Stewart, and it will debut on Apple TV+ this fall. The show was first reported back in October 2020. Apple says that this show is only the first project to come from what will be a multi-year partnership between Stewart and TV+. The show will be an “original current affairs series” with one-hour, single-issue format....

The Justice League Release the Snyder Cut movement will get some support at New York Comic Con from Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld. A new proof of concept Python tool recently uploaded to GitHub aims to use data collected through Apple’s location services for iOS devices to reveal where users have been and potentially even their home address. Researcher Hubert Seiwert has taken advantage of previous discoveries that iOS devices often send out ARP requests that disclose previously joined WiFi networks when connecting to access points. Apple responded to concerns of it collecting a database of access points to provide more accurate GPS and wifi location services back in 2011, but that data isn’t supposed to be accessible to just anyone....

On the heels of Apple unveiling the iPhone 12 with 5G and other upgrades, a new analyst note from Barclays shares skepticism about Apple’s margins as well as a potentially lower average selling price (ASP). That’s led the firm to lower its AAPL target price substantially. While Apple has removed its EarPods and the charging adapter from being included the iPhone 12, Barclays’ conclusion is that those savings won’t cover the 5G, OLED, and storage upgrades and that Apple could see lower margins for this year’s iPhones....
