After tearing down the iPhone 11 Pro in a livestream on launch day, iFixit has also dug into the internals of the iPhone 11 to see what’s new. Some finds include no evidence of bilateral wireless charging, the same logic board of the iPhone 11 Pro, and more. iFixit found a few interesting things during its iPhone 11 Pro teardown. Notably, there is a new board underneath the battery that may have been designed to enable bilateral wireless charging, although Apple scrapped the expected feature just before the iPhone 11 lineup launched....

Need more proof that Apple’s next iPhone allegedly dubbed the iPhone 4S will sport the same design as the current-generation iPhone 4? Well, a pair of images just appeared on Apple’s website, representing the black and white iPhone 4S models. The Newsstand app icon on the homescreen gives away that the devices run iOS 5. I didn’t take long to put the iPhone X camera to the test, writing last November that I considered its performance equivalent to a $500-600 camera. In the latest update on the investigation of Apple’s tax affairs in Ireland and the subsequent EU fine of €13-15 billion, Ireland could soon also be slapped with its own fine. Bloomberg reports that sources close to the matter are saying the European Commission may hit Ireland with a non-compliance action, possibly this week. This action would be for Ireland not collecting the back-taxes from Apple on time. The EU fine was originally due by January 3, and the Irish government just recently said it will collect the funds from Apple....

Warner Bros. has released a teaser video announcing the trailer for its Stephen King horror movie sequel, IT Chapter Two, will arrive this Thursday. The studio’s first IT film was a huge box office success in 2017, and several King adaptations have since either entered development or gotten a green-light as a direct result. Written by Gary Dauberman and directed by Andy Muschietti, IT adapted the first half of King’s novel and followed the members of the Losers’ Club as kids growing up in Derry, Maine, in 1989....

As more details on the Snyder Cut of Justice League surface, we now know how Steppenwolf was supposed to be defeated originally - and Zack Snyder’s version is way better. Of all the changes made to Snyder’s version of Justice League, it is clear that Steppenwolf’s role and the finale were two areas that Warner Bros. and Joss Whedon heavily changed. Steppenwolf received even more screentime thanks to alterations made to the history lesson scene, but his defeat played out very differently from Snyder’s original plan....
